permissions problem with sending email

I am trying to send an email to a distribution list, but I
get an error saying "an interal support function returned
an error." I looked this up and it references the
permissions settings on the File menu. I looked at the
permissions settings and there is a check box next to
unrestricted access. I have not had problems sending to
this group before. Any ideas?
