Person doesn’t receive Net Folder invitations

A remote employee who had net folders up and working no longer receives updates. After taking him off the list and re inviting him to join, we discovered that he no longer receives the invitation to join net folders. He can receive emails, emails with attachments, fine but no invitations. I’ve read MS KB 229962 on OL2000 Troubleshooting Net Folders and couldn’t find anything specific. Any advice would help, thanks.
