I am writing E-MAPI code in VC++ that extracts the names of users and
their fax numbers. Several questions:
1) I have been told that I must use E-MAPI because accessing the user
information using CDO/MAPI brings up a Security Warning on certain
computers. Is this message unavoidable in any other way? My partner
also mentions that in VB he thinks the message pops up only when
accessing Distribution Lists? Is this true? What about when accessing
username from the Exchange server?
2) If a contact has only a fax number (no email), then the
PAB/Contacts does not display this user. Turns out the username is not
displayed in Outlook when sending a message, nor is it visible when
using Outlook Spy. So, how can I get this username?
