When I archive my outlook, and save it on the c drive, I can open it without a problem. But when I copy the archived file to my cd-r, and try to open it, it says "Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use" "access denied". Can you please help.

make sure the properties of the file haven't been set to read only. often
when people burn a PST, the value of it changes automatically. I forgot
what explanation MS gave for doing that.
