personal folders not closing properly

Almost every time I close and then re-open Outlook, I get a message that
personal folders did not close properly and they must be rebuilt. Any idea
how to fix this?

First thing to do is to make sure that Outlook.EXE has actually terminated
before you shut your machine down.

Hi,

In addition to suggestion of Vince,

Check outlook.exe in your task manager ( right click on your taskbar ) and
in processes tab.

If this doesnot work, run scan pst to your outlook pst file
