Personal Folders still appear after removing the service

Hello,

I am having a problem removing the Personal Folders
folder from a user's Folder List. There is no Personal
Folders or Archive Folders service installed for this
user. When I click on the Personal Folders folder, it
gives me an error message that an old mailbox.pst file
could not be found.

We moved from internet email to exchange.
We have Outlook 2000 and Exchange 2000.

Search the microsoft.public.outlook newsgroup for "ghost folders".
