Phantom Outgoing Messages

I have the same problem as Ross, except that my Outlook shows 4 messages
instead of his 3. This started today. I have rebooted several times but to no
avail.

Thank you, Kathleen. I was going to start working on your solution today, but
apparently the old mnessages got "unstuck" without my intervention and
everything is normal now. I am keeping the link though for future reference.
