phone from office

How can I make a phone call from my computer? I would like to call from
Office Contacts without routing through a phone. I can use Skype from my
computer but don't know how to set up a phone that integrates with Office
contacts.

Consult Front Page Help. Oh there was no listing for it.
Perhaps you are in the wrong newsgroup.

I was hoping you'd get an answer here, because I'd like to know myself.
maybe if you get one, you'll be kind enough to paste the answer into a reply
on this thread?

In Outlook Help search for Dial phone number

Modem must be properly set up.

Open Contacts
Click on contact
From the menu
Actions->Call Contact->click on number

If a voice modem, use a headset to converse, otherwise pick up telephone.
Last time I used this was with Outlook 97, Windows 95, and Hayes 33.6Kb
non-voice.

LOL
I remember a modem I had where you actually put the handset of the phone
into it!
then I took 15 years off from computers and boy did stuff change!

Acoustic Couplers- Have one around somewhere. Used the db25
connector off the adapter plugged into the expansion port on
my Vic-20 circa 1983
