Phonetic Guide for Korean

I have used the phonetic guide in MS Word for Chinese and it works well. I
understand that it should be also able to work with other East Asian
languages such as Korean and Japanese, but I am unable to get it to do this.
Does anyone have experience of using the phonetic guide for Korean for
example?

I'm not sure what the phonetic guide is supposed to do or where it's supposed
to appear, but there's some help that might be more meaningful to you than it
is to me if you search on "phonetic guide" (INCLUDE the quotes)

This did not help, other than to tell me that it should be possible to use
the phonetic guide with Chinese, Japanese or Korean.

I can't, and I yet to find any one that can!!.

Any other suggestions please?
