How do I get more than 4 photos per slide using the PhotoAlbum function?

I want to put 6 on a page, with a caption, I tried creating a design
template containing a table with 8 cells in it. But I cant get that to work.
Are there other ways round it?

Image Importer Wizard Add-In allows you to set the images per slide.

I'm not sure of the limit though. Anyone know whether there is a limit?
