When I press "Default Print" button in Photo Editor, it give mulitples copies
instead of 1 copy.

The print-out size is also not the same as viewed in Photo Editor.

I read in an older post that the number of copies that will print by
default is saved in the Windows Registry. Initially, the default
setting for Photo Editor is 1 copy. However, once you tell Photo
Editor to print more than one copy, the Windows Registry setting is
changed to the number of copies you asked Photo Editor to print. It
seems that you can not get the default number back to 1 copy in the
registry unless you change the number back to 1 in the registry
manually. The result is that every time you right click on a photo and
select print, multiple copies will print. Of course you can choose to
just select file>print from within Photo Editor to print only 1 copy.
But if you want to be able to right click on the image file and select
print from the resulting menu to get 1 copy printed, I believe you will
have to make the change in the Windows Registry.

I was having the same problem and was able to fix it in the registry.
I imagine that if you fix it as well and then select multiple copies to
print in the future, you may again see that the default changes to
multiple copies again. Once this happens you will likely have to again
go back into the registry to reset the number back to 1.

To change the default number of copies back to 1 copy, enter Windows
Registry clicking Start>Run, then type regedit and click the OK button.
Then "drill down" through the folders to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Photo Editor>3.0>Print. Once
there double click on the Copies file that appears in the right window.
Then change the Value Data number to 1 and click OK. Then exit
Windows Registry. Once I did this, I was able to right click on a
photo and select print, and only get one copy printed.

I hope this helps.

I had a user approach me with this exact problem today. Changing the
registry key does the trick until the next time the user selects the
number of copies to be greater than 1 on the file print menu. Then the
registry is set back to the number of copies the user enters. Does
anyone know if there is a registry solution that will keep the default
number of copies as 1. I've looked at the Microsoft site and found
nothing mentioning this problem at all.

Registry key to edit is below.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Photo Editor>3.0>Print
