photo gallery locks up comp.

Posted Jan 11 & got good info but still no fix.Got a new
computer & moved my site & FP02 to it. I used a cd burner
to copy site and when I got the new comp. ready to update
a photo gallery , everything was normal at page prop.
until I click "ok" then computer freezes and have to turn
off comp. to unfreeze. I think the original problem was
that the cd burner saved the "real" files in photo
gallery as "read only files" instead of html files. Now my
system seems to only recognize the bad "real" files ???
Since last post I have..
...reinstalled FP lots of times
...deleted web & reinstalled good files lots of times
...searched all, temp, & hidden files for words
containing "frontpage" & "real" and deleated everything
that I could
...did system restore back to date of purchase
...installed all MS Office & Windows updates
...installed all Sony updates
There seems to be something that makes FP remember the
bad files and I don't know how to make it stop.It seems
like all other FP funcions are ok and rest of computer
seems to work fine. Sorry to be so long winded but I am
very frustrated...Help!

If you copied everything to a CD, the files become read-only. So on the new
machine you need to copy the web to a temporary folder on your HD, then open
in Windows Explorer and remove all read-only attributes from all files and
folders, then open this temporary folder in FP, and then publish to the
final location on your HD.

Sorry to sound dumb, but I'm not sure how to make
explorer do that. I have a 128mb Jump drive that I have
the "good" copy of my web stored on.Thanks for your
help !!
