photo gallery montage layout

WinXP, FrontPage02

In following instructions for creating a photo gallery montage layout, I
cannot get the pictures to "glue" together so that the background doesn't
show through between each one.

Anyone know what can be done to glue everything together?

Also, there doesn't appear to be a lot of posts in this newsgroup. Is there
another FrontPage newsgroup that is used more?

FP doesn't give you that option. You could do this manually with a
paint program or maybe try Googles Picasa - Photo organizer.
