Photo Gallery not displaying if too many pictures

If I put too many pictures in a Gallery I get the following type of
display on my website instead of the gallery:

[photogallery/photo00028155/photogallery/photo00028155/real.htm]

Is this an undocumented limitation or am I doing something wrong?

undocumented brick wall.

sometimes it happens sometimes not...i've never been able to find the limit though.

thats when I will switch to JAlbum (free, skinnable easy to use) do a Google for it.
