Photo gallery slide show causes system to crash

I am taking a college class for FrontPage 2003. Part of my assignment is to
create a Photo Gallery and then convert the picture layout from Horizontal to
Slide Show. Every time I try to do this, my system locks up. I have tried
every authoring setting available and still I crash. All other components
are working and all the Photo Gallery components work except the Slide Show.
I even checked out my PowerPoint and created a slide show to make sure it
works fine. No problem with any other Microsoft 2003 product or Windows XP.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled FrontPage. I have used the control panel
ADD/REMOVE programs and clicked CHANGE to re-add all the options. I checked
my FrontPage files and the slide show files are all there. I just don't know
what to make of all of this. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly
appreciated!

Try it with just a few smaller photos see if that works.
