photo gallery: slide show problem- why?

T

When I preview the photo gallery in the slide show layout in my Broser-
Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox,
everything seems to be fine but unfortunately, as I am sure you are familiar
with the slide show layout :
the top of the page shows thumbnail pictures,
As you wish to see more thumbnails there is a scrolling button at each end
allowing you to go forwards or backwards.
This is where the problem is, in previewing in my Browser there are no
scrolling buttons and the thumnails go on and on, so the layout looks untidy
and confusing but in the Front page preview and normal tabs everything works
fine. ?
Has anyone else had this problem did you find out why and manage to solve it?

Are you allowing Java to run? I think if you block MS java the page will not
load correct. Try my photopage to see if it works for you.
www.unitedfence.com then select a photo gallery.

FYI: Java and JavaScript are two total different technologies. The photo gallery is based on
JavaScript. By default all browsers allow JavaScript.

Java requires that the user have Java Virtual Machine (JVM) installed.

My browser at first would block the gallery from loading properly which had
the same stretching effect until I allowed the script (whatever it is) to
run. Just thought it was worth a try because MS gallery is easy and I like
using the program.

You have to view it from a internet location, not from your HD to avoid it being blocked by Windows
XP SP2.
