Photo Sequence On Page

I am trying to create a graphic element across the bottom of a page that
would show a sequence of JPEGs sliding from right to left, one after the
other. Obviously this could be done in Flash, and as an animated GIF. Are
there other, relatively easy, techniques that would accomplish this?

I think flash would be your best options, with JavaScript function being second.
