photo upload to DB doesn't work!

I have been trying to figure this out for god....almost two months now and have not proceeded any further. My page is here:

This particular form uploads to a database to an OLE object. When you click submit, it thinks for a second, then returns to the form and it is not in there.

Now, I have also tried using the frontpage defaults when attempting to upload and specified the folder I wanted to. Then it gives me that "Cannnot run blah blah on non-html page."

I cannot write the asp code out by hand because I do not know it that well. And I cannot buy any programs to upload for me (although I have tried free ones with no success.)

AAAAnyway, anybody have any suggestions? It would be most apprecaited.

If you have a Windows server supporting ASP you should look at ASP Upload

You can only use the FP Upload component to upload a file to a folder within your website, you can
NOT use it to actually store the file in the database, only a link, which does requires some ASP
coding.

To use ASPupload as suggested by Stefan, the application must be purchase in order to be use after
30 days and the web host must install it on their servers.

Have you contacted the host to see if they already have a ASP Upload component installed for use by
their clients?

I have contacted them. And actually, they have no clue what I am talking about. I started talking about forms and whatnot and they had notta clue. I didn't ask them directly about an upload componant, so I will tommorow when the office is open again. Is this something I can physically see on the web (like an asp page)? or does it reside in the background to where I cannot access it?

No you can't see it, and the host would should know if they have installed one, as it will require
that they set specific permissions for each web hosting client to be able to use it and then they
would have to provide instructions on how to access it or at least which one they have installed,
etc.
