Photoalbum and Speaker Notes

I have a user who wants to add new images to a Photoalbum presentation. But
when he does, the speaker notes disappear from the existing slides and new
slides are created at the end of the presentation, each new slide having one
of the notes that disappeared. Is this a feature? This is with PowerPoint
2003. (He was having other problems with disappearing notes before he was
upgraded.

From my experience, Photoalbum does not exactly delete the notes. It creates
new slides when you update the album but moves the slides on which the
images originally resided, to the bottom on the presentation if the slides
have custom content, notes on them.

Are you sure that the notes were being deleted?

Sorry if my note was not clear. The problem is that the notes are being
moved to new blank slides. This is not terribly useful. Is there anyway to
stop this from happening?
