Photogallery w scanned b/w pictures...

Created nice "horizontal" photogallery of group of classmates (deceased)
for my web site.
I scanned each senior "photo" from b/w yearbook and saved as .jpg files.
They probably should have been saved as .gif files. I tried to change
a couple, but made no difference in my result.

Local site - page looks great
Remote site - same

PROBLEM: Online, just the gallery path name is listed, and no pictures.

Does anyone know if this can be done?
