Photos display in incorrect weird colors when inserted in text bo.

When entering photos in a text box in my Word 2000 version, the photos appear
and print properly. When I attempt to enter the same photos into a text box
in my XP Office version of Word, some of the photos appear on the screen in
weird colors and print the same way. This is true when I take a flier I have
created on Word 2000 in which everything displays and prints properly and
open it on my other computer with the XP Office version. Sometimes a photo
will eventually display properly after I adjust size, etc., on the computer
screen but still prints in the weird/bright colors. I am printing both (the
flier brought up on the 2000 and XP versions) on the same printer.

Is there some reason you need to have the photos in text boxes rather than
just inserted and wrapped?

Speed. I do fliers for real estate agents and they often change the position
of photos, headings, prices, etc. It is much faster to just drag three or
four text boxes to new locations and to resize them than to work with the
entire document by repositioning those headings, photos, etc., in new
positions.

Okay, you didn't say you had more than the photo in the text box. You might
see if you experience the same difficulty if you convert the text box to a
frame.

Found a partial solution. The people who had trouble openings these fliers
upgraded to a stand-alone Word 2003 version and everything opened as it
should with photos in the right locations and displaying the proper colors.
I have a stand-alone 2000 version on my main computer (which is where I
construct the fliers). Apparently, some versions (the XP Office version of
Word) cannot handle all the information correctly. For now, my problem is
solved. Thanks for the help.
