Every time I add a picture to a page and then save the page, it ends up on
each page of my site I am designing. The photos are being stored in the
image forlder of the site, but when I click to save the page shouldn't they
stay on that page. I am VERY new at this so hope this isn't too stupid a
question.....thanks,Sher

From your description of the symptoms of your problem, it
sounds like you are adding your picture to an area of a
web page that is common to all pages on your site.

You don't say what kind of site you have created but this
could happen with Shared Borders or Frames. Do either of
those terms ring a bell with you? These would have come
about if you used on of Front Page's templates or wizards
to create your site.

Sher

Yes, I did use one of the wizards to start the set up. Can I change this now
or do I have to start all over? In other words you have to do each page
seperately and then that will not happen? thanks,Sher

make sure you're not inserting them in a shared border or included page which is
included in other pages.

If you place it in a shared border, it will show on all pages that use
this border.

Sher

That is exactly what I was doing. Thanks all three of you for the answer and
a solution that was so easy to fix.
