Is it possible to change the aspect of a picture from landscape to portrait?
Thanks

Picture frames hang either way but if you really want a portrait view you
might as well rotate it 90 degrees and crop it to suit your needs. This also
may give you a chance to compose a nicer picture.

Open the image file in your favorite image editor. Save a copy of the
original, but work with the highest resolution copy you have. Crop it with
vertical aspect ratio...you're gonna lose some data of course and your image
will now be smaller.

If you're working with an actual print and have a scanner, scan it at high
resolution and save it as a .tif - then do the above.
