Physical record description?

How do I get the physical record description in Access? I'm not sure exactly
what it is, all I know is that it is a description of how Access stores its
data. That is too general, I need to know specifically, and does Access
generate some kind of report itself or I need to dig?

The details of how the record is stored in the Access .mdb (or .mde or
other) file are proprietary to Microsoft, and are not to my knowledge
publically documented anywhere. What prompts the question? Some
pointy-haired IT director? <g>
