Hi
Using word 2000 in Me. somehow I have managed to get a photo permanently in
every blank word doc. It is a photo Iemailed last week, but did not use word
at all. I have got to the templates folder, clicked on Normal as someone
advised, they also advised I click on and delete it, I clicked on, in edit
all I could see was clear del so I typed in del and the picture
went. I was then instructed to save as, I did that, now it wants to know
where I save it! I have no idea. the person who gave me the advice is on
another newsgroup, and has gone to eat or something!

This is what I was advised to do.

Check the template file called Normal.dot, which you will find in here:

C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\

The pic you emailed probably got attached to it by mistake. Click on
Normal.dot, and it will open in Word as a blank Document. If the picture
is there, delete it, and use 'Save As' to save it back again in the
template name, i.e. Normal.dot, which it will then overwrite after
asking you first.

Hope someone can help.

Thank you,

Sheila
