"Picklist" for memo field?

Is there a way to access a list of frequently used phrases for entry into a
memo field? For example, can I custom design a right click menu which has
phrases such as "attempted phone call" which can be stored in a memo field?

Trying to store multiple messages in a memo field will make it diffucult to
retrieve specific messages.

Have you considered using a related "child" table that holds one comment per
record/row?
