do you mean you want to put a picture up on your page and
make it look like the picture is part of your page rather
than a square block with the picture in it showing its own
background colour??

if this is the case you need to make sure your picture is
a gif and give the gif a transparent background.

if you cant do this with picture editing software, click
on the picture to select it when you have it on your page
in front page normal veiw, make sure you have the toolbar
available to help you make the picture background
transparent by going to view>>>toolbars and selecting
pictures, then click on the picture you want the
background to dissapear on once you have it on your page
in the front page web editor then click on the icon that
looks like the letter L with a pencil in it which is
normally at the bottom of the front page web editor screen
(when you put your cursor over the correct icon it should
read "set transparent colour"once this is done click on
the background colour of the picture that you want to
dissapear with your cursor and that colour becomes
transparent, save your page and its done

if the picture you click on isnt in gif format (it has to
be gif to have a transparent background) a prompt box will
appear saying it needs to be converted to gif and front
page will convert it for you, just click on ok then follow
the instructions above
