Picture can be loaded immediately

when i was using office2000, the picture in the word document can be loaded simultaneously. However, when i upgraded my office to 2003 last week, the picture in the document cannot be displayed properly, it seems it can't be loaded. The image was "broken" (some pixels can be displayed, some are in white). This problem only appears on "print layout view", for other views (Web layout view, normal view, outline view, reading layout and preview).

Actually, it is not only my problem. Some of my friends also suffer from it.

Anyone can help? Is it office2003 common problem?

I am sorry I have no definitive answer for that one. Let's just say I
have been waiting for problems with the new drawing canvas to reveal
themselves.

You could try to Maggie your doc, but I don't know how successful it
will be:

Cuttenpaste everything bar the last para mark to a new document.
