Importing either tif or jpeg format pictures into a
worksheet with merged data from other files causes the
picture colours to be degraded. This is particularly
noticeable in the red spectrum where the colours can
change violently from the true colour- red can become
purple for example. The original picture files are fine
and are correctly interpreted in Adobe for example. The
degradation is not consistent and may occur at any random
moment either while using the file or opening it having
saved it correctly. Once degraded it seems impossible to
revert back. Any ideas on the cause or remedy would be
greatly appreciated.
