Insert your heart or oval shape using the drawing toolbar and the
AutoShapes tools. Once you have your shape in your document, then
right click it and select Format AutoShape. On the Colors and Lines
tab, select the dropdown for color. Choose Fill Effects. From there,
select the Picture tab. Click the Select Picture button and browse
for your picture.
You will want to click the checkmark on for "Lock picture aspect
ratio" if you want most of the picture to show up inside your
AutoShape. If you don't, then toggle it off for a different effect.
If you want more control over cropping your pictures, then I would
suggest using the additional tool of Snag-It.
