picture in a Cell

I've created a 2 celled table that I'm trying to drop a
picture into the top cell. My problem is that the picture
wants to stick out either to the left, right or top. I
just can't center the picture in the Cell. What should I
do?

Select the picture by clicking on it then either "control +E" it or
click on the "centre text" icon on the toolbar or double click the
picture, select format, layout and choose any other one bar" in line
with text" and that should make the position buttons available.

In order to put a graphic *in* a table cell, you must first make it In Line
With Text. You will then be able to center it in the cell using the text
formatting commands.
