Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Power PC Hello

I have inserted a .PNG picture from file into a Word doc, however the option to Order > Align is greyed out, and the only way I can find to move it to centre is by moving the ruler.

I would be grateful for help.
Thanks

I have solved my problem. I aligned the cursor to centre and then inserted the picture, which then inserted to centre.

Thanks

Ewww.... :)

That sort-of works, but it's not a good way to do it :)

First, hit your Show/Hide button so you can see what you are doing. You
will see the paragraph marks appear.

Then create one blank paragraph in the document.

Insert your .PNG into that paragraph. Word will treat it as a very large
character.

Now, use Format>Paragraph to centre the paragraph. The paragraph and the
picture will be accurately centred on the page and remain that way.

The way you are doing it fills the document with blank paragraphs and tabs:
it's unstable and leads to document problems :)

Hope this helps

I have solved my problem. I aligned the cursor to centre and then inserted the
picture, which then inserted to centre.

Thanks
