picture manager aspect ratio

Trying to resize an image with MS Picture Manager, using the Custom Height &
Width option.

The Aspect ratio is very strange and it will not resize in proportion. How
can this be changed. We used to use MS Photo Editor, which was very easy, but
this product does not seem to perform in the same way at all.....

It seems to swap the width and height dimensions in some way. Very strange.

Any advice welcome. Thanks.

Hi Andrew,

Yes, it is a strange but the aspect ratio
should stay constant

You can only specify one dimension and the PhotoManager
decides what the other one is. It may be simpler if
when in the 'Resize Settings' area of the taskpane
you click (o) Original Size then type in either the
new new height or width that you want.

There isn't a lot of flexibility in the taskpane settings.
You may want to use a 3rd party tool, such as
http://www.irfanview.com, if you don't have another
graphic application available.
