picture manager deleted my photo when emailing

[picture manager program problems]

msoffice's picture manager program replaced my photo with a picture of their
logo. where did my picture go? i was going to email it when i realized it
was the wrong photo. then POOF, it's gone & cannot be found (by me).
any idea how to retrieve it?

If you double-click it, is it the right photo? (Thinking you're probably
just seeing the Picture Manager icon.)
