picture manager edit doesnt work

Works fine here, you will need to provide a bit of background info if
someone is going to help. A little more definition of what "doesn't
work", error messages, what has happened to the system recently?

When a saved picture is opened in Picture Manager and edit picture is opened
the editing tool does not work. I hope this helps as i really would like to
get this problem taken care of.

Please reread my original reply. You merely replaced "Doesn't work" with
"Does not work". The folks here don't have crystal balls and can't see
your computer screen. What does happen? When did it stop "working"? Does
it happen with all pictures? Have you tried Help, Detect and repair?

There are dozens of pictures on this computer, any can be opened with picture
manager, but when the edit picture tab is opened the (as example) arrows for
rotating the picture are greyed out. When they are clicked, nothing happens.
This started about a week ago after the computer hd was reformatted and the
software was reinstalled. Detect and repair didn't help.

In Windows greyed out menu items mean they are unavailable and inactive,
either because that feature does not apply to the item selected or other
reason. Is Picture Manager activated?

Is the computer name and user name the same? If so then you can run across this problem.
