Clicked on locate pictures HP (C), clicked ok then every picture that was
preloaded d/l into pm. My intent was to located my dl photos from my camera,
not 100 plus pictures that are in various programs that came preinsalled.
If I delete them from my PM will this wipe them off my entire system?
please advise thanks

Picture Manager isn't a separate area with copies of your photos from other
locations. Think of it as kind of a file manager with extra functions. If
you start deleting photos within that program, they're gone.

so you are saying the ones I dl into picture manager erronously, once I
delete them from PM, they are gone from the computer to whichever programs
the pictures are associated with? Yes?
If yes, how do I hide them in picture manager? I dont want them showing.
thanks

They were not there prior to my stupidity ..

You didn't download then into "Picture Mananger". They are wherever you told
your computer to put them, probably My Pictures (XP) / Pictures (Vista).

You can tell PM which directory to look for photos. Just create a picture
shortcut.

Please open Picture Manager Help and look up the term Remove Shortcuts.
Click that link and follow the instructions.
