picture manager to photoshop

I use photoshop to edit pictures - the simple editor in picture manager is
not enough. I cant drag an image & drop it into photoshop, I cant "open with"
or "send to" photoshop - how can I use the tools together??

Im only using picture manager because installing the latest version of
office has messed up my ability to view thumbnails in windows explorer - its
nice & fast for previewing, but the idea that its an all in one tool seems
naive. - what is the point of this tool if you cant get images out to the
real world?

From your post, I am not sure what specific problems you are experiencing.
Are you getting any error messages?

When I have Picture Manager and Photoshop CS {version 8} open in windows on
my desktop, I can drag and drop an image from Picture Manager into Photoshop
with no problem.

I can right click on a image file in My Pictures {or other folder} and
select Open With and then Photoshop CS and Photoshop opens with the image.

I admit that Picture Manager will only send to other Office applications.

As to your problem with thumbnail view in Windows Explorer, suggest you post
to a Windows newsgroup.
