Picture not displaying

Having trouble uploading some new pictures. All I usually do is place the
picture on the page and then upload it to the server. I've tried re-naming
the picture, changing the picture and also placed it in the image folder but
the pic still won't show. All you get is a space for the picture and the
small red cross. My ISP says that the picture isn't reaching their server but
if you check in the publishing logs it shows it being sent. Not sure what the
problem is and would appreciate it if someone could take a look at
http://www.book-holidays-direct.com/turkey/aegean-coast-holidays-bitez.htm
and let me know the answer. BTW I use FP 2002.

Did you File | Import the picture into your open local FP web before
inserting on a page and saving?

Hi Tom, I don't understand what you're saying. All I do is save the picture
to "My pictures" folder and then call it to the page. It's worked thousands
of times before but not today. How do I "Import the picture into your open
local FP web"?

T

Tom [Pepper] Willett

Open your FP web on your local computer.
Go to File | Import picture and select it from the location on your hard
drive and put it in your images folder.
Then, on the page you want to place it, use Insert Picture and retrieve it
from your images folder.

Also, change the image name to lower case before you publish and see what
happens.

Changed to lower case nameing and imported as you said but still no show. If
you go back to the website and click on destinations you'll see that we have
around 3,000 pages many with ten or more pics on and they have all been
loaded exectly the same way I've done during the past five-years without a
problem. Really boxed on this one.
