picture pasted in Word disappears when I scroll up and down page

picture pasted in Word disappears when I scroll up and down the page.
some told me word is doing this because the size of picture is too big.

Help me how to fix this problem .

Try a program like www.irfanview.com to compress the picture and THEN place
it in Word. Otherwise, if it's not really a big picture (electronically, not
physically), then you may just need to restore the resources on your PC
itself. If rebooting helps for a while, then clean up your hard drive, which
may help for a longer while.

Try reducing the hardware acceleration setting in Start | Control
Panel | Display | Advanced | Troubleshooting.
