When you browse pictures (images) in thumbnail view and have your Windows Explorer settings to Cache Thumbnails (see below), Windows
Explorer attempts to create a thumbs.db file for the thumbnail cache (so the thumbnail images load faster next time)
Believe it is turned off (especially on a server based or online webs) or doesn't work because the file type .db is not a valid file
allowed
- that is also why viewing your images in Windows Explorer in a FP disc based web will generate a thumbs.db file which will cause
publishing errors
Try turning it off and seeing if your Std Windows Browse Dialog View Selection will allow you to view Thumbnails
To turn off thumbnail caching in Windows Explorer use Tools - Folder Options - View and enable Do Not cache Thumbnails (Apply to all
folders and OK)
