Pictures disappearing

All pictures or clip art which are inserted into
documents have disappeared during print preview and
actual printing. Can see them on the computer screen.
Have tried turning off "picture placeholders" and turning
on "drawings". Nothing works. This is a sudden change
in the way the computer functions again as it did happen
once before and I corrected it by doing the foregoing.
Please help

Hi, RENEE. Could it be that the pictures/clipart are formatted as
hidden? Select a picture/clipart and click on Format | Font... is the
"Hidden" box checked? If the picture/clipart is in a frame, select the
frame, then click on Format | Font | uncheck the "Hidden" box.
