Pictures don't appear on webpage after uploading MS Word HTML doc

Pictures don't appear on my webpage after uploading an MS Word HTML doc. Text shows up though. I also uploaded JPEG file. Do I need to upload something else? I am using Windows 10. I am using FileZilla Client. to upload files to my website.

What file format did you use? The ordinary html file format saves the pictures in a child folder attached to the save folder - which you would also need to upload. The mhtml format embeds the pictures in the saved file.

I created a test file xyz.htm (saved as web page). File ~$xyx.htm was also created. I inserted a picture (jpg) from my C drive. I uploaded all 3 files using FileZilla. When I open xyz.htm in Chrome, any empty frame was displayed where the picture should be.

Got it! I dragged and dropped the xyz_files folder (created automatically on saving file) to Public HTML in FileZilla
