When I paste a picture into a website how do I make it transparent s

If you mean the picture backgroud, you'll get the best
results by opening the the picture in a picture editor,
converting it to 256 colors, and then designating the
palatte number you want as transparent. Check the picture
editor's Help files for details.
In FrontPage, you can:
1. Open the Web page.
2. Select the picture.
3. Display the Pictures toolbar.
4. Click the Set Transparent Color toolbar button.
It's usually about 60% of the way across, and it
looks like a marker pointing to the lower left.
5. Click any spot within your picture that's the color
you wish would be transparent.
