Pictures in Word 2003

I use Word 2003 to create some marketing materials for my company. Yesterday
morning, I opened a file that I've been using for months, and I found that
all the images in the document changed their colors. They'd become washed out
- for example, what used to be a bright, vibrant red is now a dull rusty
orange. I created this graphics myself months ago in Photoshop and
Illustrator, and the original images and jpeg files display fine. The PDF I
had made of this document displays properly, and the DOC version displays
fine on other computers. I put the doc and pdf versions of the same file up
side by side on the same monitor, and there is a very noticeable difference,
so I know it isn't a problem with the monitor itself.

I tried opening a new document and inserting a different image, and the same
thing happens. I tried all the controls on the picture toolbar, nothing
worked. I tried rebooting, I tried a Windows System Restore, I tried an
Office "Detect and Repair", I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office, and
nothing worked.

The weirdest thing is this came up all of a sudden. Other simialr documents
I was workign with just minutes earlier had no trouble.

If anyone out there has any ideas, please let me know!
Thanks!
