I have some photos in .tif format and want them in a flier.

As I also want to add a shadow border, and make them grey scale, so I have:

put them in picture manager to make them grey scale.
pasted them to Word 2007 as jpeg files to add the shadow
pasted them into Publisher 2007.

They look fine on screen. But when printed are too blurry.

Any ideas on how I should be doing this!

too many operations...do you have an image editor? work with the .tiff in an
image editor (Word is not :)...when you're happy with your product insert
it into Publisher. No reason to go to jpg.

go to grayscale last...if you must...but you'd don't even have to dump the
color if your Pub project is in grayscale.
