Pictures with catalog

I am trying to print labels each with a picture and a caption. The captions
and paths to the picture files have been loaded into an Access 2007 database.
The catalog merge appears to work but does not display the pictures, only
their paths. What am I doing wrong?

I have discovered if you place your data base and pictures into a common folder
the catalog merge works without problems. You don't need to provide a path, just
the name of the image, i.e. bird.jpg, dog.png...
