Pin Feed Label Problem

We have a dot matrix printer that uses pin feel labels,
the pin feed is only 1 label across, for some reason
access always wants to print 2 labels. The second label
is blank. I have used both the Avery Label Number 4250
and created a custom form size by using Printer Server
Properties under the Printer Control folder. The size of
the label is 1.25" high and the length is 3.00".

How to get it to print exactly what I want on the pin
feed, any ideas instructions would be greatly
appreciated. The printer I am using is an Okidata 390/T.
