Is there anything you can do to either get the posters who post through the
excel forum to adhere to Usenet practice (as in quoting the post they are
replying to) or to get the feed from the forum switched off? It's getting
very annoying not having quotes or "Re:" in the subject of a reply.

It bothers me also, but I don't believe it's under the control of the
posters.

If it's that big of a PITA to you, why not go over to excelforum and
complain to their webmasters.
This is a recent development (regression), and I'm sure they changed
something over there quite recently.
