Pivot Chart Colours

Whenever I change the colours in a pivot chart and then add/amend/refresh
the pivot data the colours revert back to the original defaults.

Is there any way to prevent this so I can retain my selected colours?

This is a known problem with pivot charts. There's information in the

I kinda thought it must be an inbuilt limitation of XL. I'm using 2003,
is 2007 the same?

In Excel 2007 you can refresh the pivot table, and the formatting
changes stay in the pivot chart. There's a bit more information in this
