Basically, I have tri-variate data on x, y and z, which is currentl
stored as individual sheets in Excel (i.e. x,y), with the thir
dimension being through the sheets. I wish to be able to view an
arbitrary plane through this "data cube" by selecting the value of tw
of the three variables. It seems I need a pivot table for this, o
three pivot tables (for the three combinations, x-y, x-z, and y-z).
If anyone could help me out with this rather simple, yet apparentl
esoteric function within excel (the MSKB has nothing on this - granted
the hardest part is determining how to approach this in Excel) I woul
very much appreciate it. I am running Excel 2003 btw.
Thanks in advance. :
